Information you provide

We collect information you choose to give us, including your email address, handle, display name, bio, website and social links, App submission details, screenshots or media you upload, contact messages, production-update subscriptions, and ownership or claim evidence.

Some of that information is public by design. Public Builder Profiles, approved Apps, screenshots, descriptions, links, and aggregate engagement counts may be visible to anyone.

Information collected automatically

We collect limited technical and usage data to keep VibePlay working: security and rate-limit signals, anonymous analytics identifiers, device type, referrers, UTM parameters, pages visited on VibePlay, searches, App detail Views, Play clicks, Like activity, and Magic Link or claim flow events.

How we use it

We use this information to operate VibePlay, authenticate Users, moderate Submissions, maintain Builder Profiles, route Players to external Apps, count Views, Plays, and Likes, rank discovery surfaces, prevent abuse, send Magic Links and other transactional email, send production updates if you subscribed, respond to support and ownership requests, and understand whether product flows are working.

We do not sell personal information, run third-party ads, or use your information to track you across the external Apps you choose to Play.

External Apps

VibePlay stores App metadata and opens Builder-hosted Apps in a new tab. We do not execute user-submitted App code on VibePlay. When you choose to Play an external App, that App is governed by the Builder’s own privacy practices.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, Object Storage, Cache Layer, email delivery, analytics, and operational monitoring. They process information only as needed to provide those services to VibePlay.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage for sign-in sessions, security, anonymous analytics continuity, rate limiting, and preferences such as language. These are used to make the service work and to measure aggregate behavior on VibePlay.

Retention

We keep account, App, moderation, contact, subscription, and claim records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, enforce our Terms, and meet legal obligations. Raw View and analytics events are kept on a rolling schedule and pruned when no longer needed for aggregate reporting or abuse prevention.

Your choices

You can update your Builder Profile in settings, request App or Profile corrections, ask to claim or remove a listing, and unsubscribe from production updates. You can also request access, correction, or deletion of personal information where required by law. Send requests through Contact.

Children

VibePlay is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above.
